During this time, Bonnie and Tom raised two children, both of whom are now married with families of their own. After Bonnie’s return to the USA, she worked as a public health nurse and counselor among high-risk pregnant teens. In 1991, Bonnie accepted a position at Multnomah University in the Christian Ministries Division teaching courses in leadership, family ministries, and spiritual formation. She also taught all upper class students of the university in a required career development course, which included an IDAK Career Match. During those years, Bonnie did career counseling with over 1,600 university students. After 20 years at Multnomah University, she transitioned to the Paraclete Mission Group, to serve globally as a counselor and consultant. In this role, she teaches, counsels and mentors ministry leaders worldwide.Bonnie’s passion is to come alongside individuals to empower and encourage them to become all that they were created to be and do. One of her favorite vacation spots is Harold’s Bay, South Africa.
